A esta traducción tengo también que hacerle la nota especial de que, al igual que Yoimoribito, no tiene lyrics oficiales, así que no me quedó otra opción más que sacarle la letra por oído; y de nuevo; no tengo ni la más miníma idea de cual es el lenguaje que Akiko empleó aquí (por no decir la particularidad de que la canción parece una mezcla de múltiples partes de si misma puestas en inversa: solo prueben a cargarla en un editor de audio e invertirla para que escuchen de que hablo). Sin embargo, la canción es bastante buena; tiene ciertos aires índigenas, y resulta bastante agradable al oído, a pesar de que la traducción de la letra es un tanto triste...

豊穣の女神の娘、イゥリプカ。
Iuripuca, the daughter of the Goddess of the Good Harvest
Iuripuca, la hija de la Diosa de la Buena Cosecha.

娘は不思議な力を持っていた。
That girl possessed mysterious powers.
Esa chica poseía poderes misteriosos.

祈れは実りを、舞えば雨を、謳えば太陽を、
意のままに操ることの出来得る力があった。
Her prayers ripened the crops, when she danced she invoked the rain, when she sang the sun would rise, she had the power to make all of that happen at her will.
Sus rezos hacían madurar a las cosechas, sus danzas invocaban a la lluvia; y su canto hacìa salir al sol, ella tenía el poder de hacer que todo eso pasase a su voluntad.

しかし娘は、皇城付きの易者の予言により
益と災いを同時にもたらす者として
山奥の伽藍へと幽閉さえ、その日々を送っていた。
However, a fortuneteller came to the castle of the Emperor,
and predicted that she would be the one that would bring them both blessing and disaster,
so a certain day, they sent Iuripuca to a temple in the depths of the
mountains and confined her in there.
Sin embargo, un adivino llegó hasta el castillo del Emperador,
prediciendo que Iuripuca sería la que les traería tanto bendiciones como desastres,

陽の光を、草の息吹を見ることの能わぬ、
籠の鳥のような暮らしではあったが

She was now unable to see the light of the sun, feel the breathing of the grass,
and she lived as if she was a caged bird.
But as her judgment was still the same of the girl she had always been,
she spent her days praying, singing, and dancing to keep dissatisfaction at bay.
Ahora ella era incapaz de ver la luz del sol, sentir el respirar de la hierba,
y vivía como si fuera un pájaro enjaulado.
Pero como su juicio seguía siendo el de la misma chica que ella siempre había sido,

娘は伽藍を訪れた旅の僧に恋をした。
As the girl danced, the land was bound to be prosperous and never suffer from starvation again,
but she thought that these banal and boring days would continue forever, until a certain day,
Iuripuca fell in love with a traveling priest that visited the temple.

僧は、翠葉薫るが如き若僧であった。
The priest was still a novice, fresh as green grass.

However, the young man was still a priest, and because of that, he would have to continue his journey,
so, like a spring breeze, he came, and leaving the girl alone again, he went down the mountain.

娘は、生を受けて初めて心を乱し、僧を思い、焦がれては嘆いた。
The heart of Iuripuca was thrown into chaos for the first time in her life,
and whenever she thought of the priest, she grieved while she yearned for her love.
El corazón de Iuripuca se hizo un caos por primera vez en su vida;
y cada vez que pensaba en el sacerdote, ella se lamentaba mientras añoraba a su amado.

その涙は河川を乱し、あふるる濁流となり、
その憂いは陽を通さね厚き雲となり、
呟く言霊は蝗の群となり、一つの国と五の村を滅ぼした。
Her tears caused revolts in the rivers, and they became flooding streams of mud,
her laments became dark clouds that blocked the sun completely,
and her murmurs became a plague of locusts, which destroyed the land and all of its five villages.
Sus lágrimas causaron que los ríos se revolvieran; y se conviertesen en torrentes de lodo que inundaron la tierra,
sus lamentos se convirtieron en nubes oscuras que bloquearon el sol completamente;
y sus murmullos se convirtieron en una plaga de langostas, la cual destruyó la tierra y todas las cinco aldeas que habían en su interior.

更にその濁流は、去りゆく若僧をも水塵へと変えた。
And even worse, even the young priest was caught up by these muddy streams,
and ended becoming more dust for the water.
Y lo peor de todo fue que incluso el joven sacerdote fue atrapado por esos torrentes de lodo;
y terminó volviéndose más polvo para esa agua.

国を滅ぼし、焦がれた者をも滅ぼしたと知った娘は
哀しみのあまり自らも濁流へとその身を投げた。
When the girl finally realized that she had killed her beloved and destroyed all of the land,
her sadness rose so much that she couldn't bear to continue living, and she threw herself into the muddy streams.
Cuando la chica finalmente se dió cuenta de que había matado a su amado y destruido la tierra completamente,
su tristeza llegó a tal punto que no pudo soportar el seguir viviendo y se arrojó a si misma a los torrentes de lodo.

天候が、収獲が万事、
非常に不確かなものになったのはこの時からある。
Thus, from that time onwards,
the weather became as unpredictable as we know it today.
Y desde ese momento en adelante,
el clima se volvió tan impredecible tal y como lo conocemos actualmente.
