Letra - Pieris

Siguiendo con las canciones de Istoria ~Kalliope~, aqui ya comenzamos de lleno con los relatos de los mitos, siendo el primero el mito de las Piérides. Estas eran las hijas del rey Piero de Macedonia, las cuales eran total nueve y estaban nombradas en honor a las Musas, a quienes todo mundo les atribuía el gran talento que tenían para la música y el canto. Por desgracia, este talento hizo que se volvieran orgullosas y altaneras, hasta el punto en que retaron a las Musas para ver quien era mejor. Naturalmente, las Musas las derrotaron; y como castigo por su insolencia las convirtieron en pájaros.

receiving the punishment for their sins, they grieve.

Their wings are colored in black
as they pursue the beautiful garden,
even if everything that covers their bodies is snatched away from them.
