Tenía intenciones de publicar sobre esto desde comienzos de este mes, pero se me hizo imposible debido a todo lo que ha pasado últimamente. Por tanto aquí va:
La situación en Venezuela se ha tornado tan insoportable que mi familia y yo hemos tomado la decisión de marcharnos a España. Nuestra partida fue el 3 de octubre; y dos semanas después, luego de un largo viaje, finalmente hemos llegado a la ciudad donde hemos decidido asentarnos. Todavía estamos inmersos en la realización de los trámites migratorios y la búsqueda de empleo, pero al menos ya tenemos comida y un hogar al que llegar, además de cuentas bancarias y un seguro de salud. Adicionalmente, estoy en medio de presentar pruebas para obtener un trabajo remoto como traductor para una agencia de subtitulado.
Ojalá que lo que venga de aquí en más sea sólo positivo...

I had intentions to post about this from this month's start, but it turned out to be imposible due to everything that's happened lately. Therefore, here you all go:
The situation in Venezuela has gotten so bad that my me and family have taken the decision to move to Spain. Our departure was this October 3rd, and two weeks later, after a long journey, we've finally reached the city where we've decided to settle down. We're still in the midst of carrying out the migratory tramits and searching for jobs, but at least weve got already food and a home to arrive at, in addition to bank accounts and health insurance. Additionally, I'm right now taking tests to get a remote job as translator for a subtitling agency.
May everything that's yet to come be only positive...
