Y he aquí la segunda canción de Utsurogi no Togabito. De nuevo con los matices oscuros; y aparte, no creo que el tema de la letra sea muy del agrado de aquellos lectores que padezcan de aracnofobia.

A long time ago, while chasing after our village's ancient enemies for over a thousand miles,
Our bodies got cursed with poison once we killed the lord of the demonic spiders
Hace mucho tiempo, mientras perseguíamos a los antiguos enemigos de nuestra aldea por más de mil millas,

During the hazy moon, hands and feet start aching and the eyes open wide in a dark pattern.
The spouted strings stop all breath and kill off any lives that happen to fall into them.
Durante la luna neblinosa, las manos y pies empiezan a doler y los ojos se abren completamente en un patrón oscuro.
Los hilos escupidos cortan todo aliento y matan toda vida que caiga en ellos.

The wings are losing their way and going into this swamp, where no one dares to venture in.
Suprimiendo todo sufrimiento y rencor, mira hacia el cielo.
Las alas están perdiendo su camino y yendo hacia este pantano en el que nadie se atreve a aventurarse.

What the hazy moon shines over now are corpses lying in silence,
and while they rot away, once they become bones, they will mix in with the mud.

Believing that a gentle vow that will someday bring death will save someone,
you hold the bamboo basket used for collecting the wings,
while the spider, with a butterfly on its eyes, sets up its silver trap.

mientras la araña, con una mariposa en sus ojos, prepara su trampa de plata.

Las telarañas que brillan en la noche toman prestado el nombre de los tronco huecos que adornan,
floreciendo enloquecidamente en los campos secos y en la ciudad coloreada por el crepúsculo.
