Y ya volví de mi pequeño viaje. Fue bastante agradable, aunque rematadamente agotador debido a tener que ir brincando de una tienda a otra; y el hecho de que toda la semana estuve acostandome tarde y levantandome temprano. Al menos me pude traer un par de juegos (Atelier Totori y Sonic Generations), y algunas cartas de Magic. Mañana retomaré las traducciones para tratar de terminar Michibiki no Harmony pronto; y así poder pasar a Koboreru Suna no ARIA.

And I'm back from my little journey. It was quite pleasant, although horribly tiring because I had to pretty much go leaping from a shop to other, and that during all this week I had to go to bed late and wake up early. At the least I could bring a couple of games with me (Atelier Totori and Sonic Generations), and some Magic cards. Tomorrow I'll begin again with the translations, so I can finish Michibiki no Harmony soon and begin with Koboreru Suna no ARIA.

Regresando a Michibiki no Harmony (que ya tengo que ponerme al corriente, dado que ya tenemos Koboreru Suna no Aria encima y Laylania sale dentro de poco), tenemos otra de las canciones que Haruka hizo para una visual novel: en este caso, para la novela de terror Kara no Shoujo de Innocent Grey. Al comienzo es un poco aterradora, pero luego comienza a tener un tono mucho más tranquilo y alegre, aunque la letra por el contrario es deprimente.

Bueno, primero mil disculpas por haber estado casi todo un mes sin actualizar el blog, pero tengo una pequeña noticia que anunciar:

Ya he comenzado a resubir los episodios de Popolocrois; y terminé con los de la serie de 1998, los enlaces a los cuales pueden encontrarse en la misma entrada donde los publiqué originalmente. Bueno, otro año más viejo y mas sabio; y todavia hasta las orejas con las traducciones. xD
Este cumpleaños fue bastante normal, aunque no me puedo quejar en lo que respecta a los regalos: una laptop y un PS3 nuevos (que los viejos murieron, desgraciadamente T_T); y de paso, mas material de traducción y escaneo junto con algunos regalos personales.

Honestly it's pretty inferior to what I expected, given that it only includes the vocal parts for Phantasmagoria and none of the instruments, but it's not bad either (still seeking the OST version)

Y finalizando Istoria~Kalliope~, aquí tenemos la canción que sirve como cierre al album y al arco de la historia de Tetis. Como lo mencioné en la entrada previa, la canción anterior eran los lamentos de Tetis sobre la muerte de Aquiles, mientras que este es el funeral que los griegos tuvieron para honrarlo después de su muerte.

Como dato curioso, esta es la versión final de una canción que Akiko cantó en el concierto de Hats poco después del lanzamiento de Raka, la cual estaba titulada S' Enan Iroa (Para un Cierto Héroe), así que podríamos decir que fue muy esperada por varios fans.

Letra - Tethys

Bueno, no estamos muy lejos ya de terminar Istoria ~Kalliope~; y aqui tenemos la canción que sirve de apertura al arco final, el cual muestra los lamentos de la nereida Tetis por la muerte de su hijo, Aquiles, en la Guerra de Troya.

Esta canción es mi segunda favorita debido a su tono suave y tranquilo, a pesar de que también es muy meláncolica.

Letra - Tsui no Hate

Y finalizando con esta sub-sección de Istoria~Kalliope~, aquí tenemos la canción que, combinada con la siguiente (Hoshi no Tomoshibi/La Luz de las Estrellas, la cual es una instrumental), cierra el arco de Eurídice y Orfeo. Esto relata la depresión de Orfeo tras haber fallado en salvar a Eurídice; y cierra con su desmembramiento y muerte en las manos de las bacantes de Tracia. Por otra parte, Hoshi no Tomoshibi muestra los lamentos de Caliope y Himen por su muerte.

Musicalmente diría que es una versión más light y desarrollada de HOLLOW, del album Navigatoria de Akiko. Debido a lo anteriormente mencionado, esta canción es extremadamente deprimente; y solo se pone peor al final, debido a como están escritas las últimas cuatro líneas.
