Ar tonelico III... ¡Finalmente ha sido anunciado!

El día de hoy, la prestigiosa revista de videojuegos Famitsu publicó entre otras cosas un avance de los juegos que están por lanzarse; ¡y he aquí la mayor noticia para todos los fans de Ar tonelico!

¡Ar tonelico III será lanzado para PS3 el 28 de Enero de 2010 en Japón!

En las profundidades de los Soulspaces de las chicas, a través de la creación de canciones, se puede obtener un gran poder. Teniendo esto como tema central, la serie de RPGs Ar tonelico ha tenido dos entregas. Y el tercer juego, trasladandose al sistema PlayStation 3, dará vida de nuevo a una magnífica historia que une amor y odio. En este artículo, echaremos un poco de luz sobre los protagonistas y sistemas del juego.

Serie Ar tonelico

Flotando sobre el Mar de la Muerte, tres gigantescas torres sin continentes forman un planeta llamado Ar Ciel, el escenario central de la serie. El primer juego tomó lugar en Sol Ciel, el segundo en Metafalss, en los cuales la gente viviendo sobre ellas se levantó para luchar contra los peligros que amenazaban sus existencias. En Ar Ciel existe una tercera torre; y la tercera entrega de estos juegos revelará la verdad sobre ella.

Dos Reyvateils crearán las canciones de Amor y Unión

La clave de la historia y batallas de estos juegos son las Canciones, formadas sobre un lenguaje llamado "Hymmnos". Las dos heroínas presentadas en el tercer juego son llamadas "Reyvateils", chicas capaces de entregar sus sentimientos a las Canciones para liberar tremendos poderes. Y apoyando a las dos heroínas es que nuestro protagonista puede enfrentarse al destino.

El tercer juego toma lugar en la región de Sol Cluster

Una región controlada por las Reyvateil. El país de Clusternia, dominado por las Reyvatel tipo-β, es una sociedad donde solo las Reyvateil y los "humanos purificados" (esclavos) pueden vivir, un lugar ideal sin oposición. El resto de los humanos viven en una tierra llamada 大牙 (Gran Colmillo), la cual rodea a la torre.

Protagonista: 蒼都 (Aoto)
¡Estúpido! ¿Como puedes llamarte hombre si solo peleas confiando en chicas y huyes?

Un chico humano, pupilo de un obrero constructor. Tiene una personalidad muy impulsiva, pero también sabe hacerse responsable de sus actos. El siempre ha odiado la forma de ser de la gente de Clusternia y actuado de forma antipática, hasta que su encuentro con Saki empezó a aclararle el panorama.

Heroína: 咲 (Saki)
¡P-perdón! Otra vez te he causado problemas... Solo me quedaré quieta y en silencio.

Saki es una Reyvateil nacida en un centro de investigaciones para un gran proyecto que causará gran impacto en el mundo. Pero ella escapó antes de que el proyecto hubiese sido ejecutado; y después de varios años perdida, conoció a Aoto. Cuando alcanza un estado de tensión emocional extrema, ella puede usar un poder llamado 奇跡 (Milagro).

Heroìna: フィンネル (Finnel)
¡Bienvenidos, bienvenidos~! ¡Bienvenidos sean a "Yokkora"!

Ella es una Reyvateil tipo-β Purasangre, nacida en Clusternia, la nación de las Reyvateil. Es una chica torpe que trabaja en Yokkora, un restaurante establecido en el Túnel Eterno. Ella parece tener una conexión muy importante con la propia existencia de Clusternia.

Al hacer Diving en una heroína, podrás conocer a sus otras personalidades

"Dive" es la acción de entrar al Soulspace de una Reyvateil. De forma similar a los juegos anteriores, en este tercer juego, al hacer un Dive profundo en el Soulspace de una de las chicas, el protagonista puede crear magias muy poderosas conocidas como Canciones Mágicas. Sin embargo, cuando se hace Dive en este juego, te encontrarás con otra personalidad de la chica en la que estás haciendo Dive, cuya apariencia y conducta son completamente diferentes a las que tiene en el mundo real. ¿Como fortalecerás tus lazos con chicas encantadoras que tienen personalidades múltiples?

Los verdaderos sentimientos de una chica solo pueden revelarse en su Soulspace

Al hacer Dive, observarás una faceta diferente de una chica, los cual ellas consideran incluso más vergonzoso que ser vistas desnudas. Sin embargo, si ella tiene suficiente confianza en el protagonista, ella le abrirá su mente y sus sentimientos. Es a través de este proceso que las Canciones Mágicas son creadas, al igual que el proceso llamado Soporte para Chicas.

La "Torre", un escenario que se extiende verticalmente

En este juego, la Torre hace un gran uso de las Tecnologías Perdidas. El poder de las relaciones entre los Humanos y las Reyvateil se muestran incluso en el ambiente que habitan juntos. Exploremos algunas de las partes de ese escenario.

蒼谷の郷 (Aldea del Valle Azul)

Una aldea habitada por humanos, la cual se encuentra en el Gran Colmillo. Estando establecida justo en el borde del área de efecto del sistema de control climático de la Torre, el "Corredor Musical", es frecuentemente golpeada por fuertes ráfagas de viento. Sin embargo, esas poderosas corrientes de viento también se usan para hacer los molinos colocados en la cima de la aldea, los cuales ayudan a la gente con sus vidas diarias. Este es el lugar en el que vive Aoto; y la llegada de Saki a este sitio marca el verdadero inicio de la historia.

クラスタニア (Clusternia)

Orgullosa de ser una instalación construida en la cima de la Torre, este es el centro del gobierno de las Reyvateil. Los Humanos son traídos a este lugar solo para que trabajen con las Reyvateil. La gente viviendo en el Gran Colmillo siempre es victima de los planes de "Purificación" (destrucción de ciudades) que se maquinan desde aquí.

Conforme los Lazos vayan creciendo, el corazón y el cuerpo se liberarán

Los lazos entre una heroína y tú tienen gran importancia en las batallas. Las Canciones Mágicas que hayas creado en su Cosmosphere son la clave que deciden la victoria o la derrota en una batalla. Conforme el lazo vaya creciendo, sus ropas también se "liberarán"; y se aumentará su poder de ataque. Antes de las batallas, a través de la configuración, puedes hacer que la chica pelee usando la apariencia de su otra personalidad. Ese cambio de apariencia también se considera como un tipo de "liberación".

Sistema R.A.H.

En este juego, las heroínas no solo cantarán Canciones Mágicas. Al adquirir y combinar trozos de Canciones Mágicas a través del Soporte para Chicas, ¡los jugadores podrán crear sus propias Canciones Mágicas! Y en las batallas, la música de fondo cambiará en tiempo real dependiendo de las acciones del jugador. Al crear canciones poderosas y hacer que las heroínas las canten para ti, como se puede ver en las imágenes a la derecha; tu poder de combate se incrementará por mucho.

Bueno, resulta que he tenido dos semanas infernales...

Primero, el jueves pasado yo y mi familia fuimos extorsionados por un secuestro falso; y a pesar de que por suerte toda la cuesión resulto ser solo una farsa, fue simplemente una experiencia realmente horrible...

Segundo... hace dos semanas... mi abuelo murió, después de una larga agonía... se que puede sonar frío que diga que fue mejor así, dado que estaba sufriendo mucho; y la operación que podría salvarle la vida tenía probabilidades muy altas de matarlo... así que fue mejor así para que no sufriera más...

Tercero... Estuve toda la semana pasada en mi pueblo natal por los funerales de mi abuelo; y aunque resultó menos desagradable porque al menos estuve en casa de KazeRyuu y pudimos pasarnos el rato jugando videojuegos y viendo animé, fue bastante incomodo porque no estaba tan a gusto allá como en mi casa.

Y bien, también quisiera preguntar algo: ¿vale de algo todo el trabajo de traducción que estoy haciendo? Porque parece que a nadie le interesa todo lo que he hecho en el foro...

En cuestión de animé, sigo viendo la segunda temporada de Shakugan no Shana (aunque todavía me faltan por ver los capítulos finales); y en videojuegos, ya terminé Atelier Iris 3 (pensando en sacarle una review dentro de poco), y estoy jugando mi segunda partida en Tales of the Abyss (que también le haré una review más adelante).

Y sigo esperando ansiosamente la segunda temporada de Inuyasha, el lanzamiento del single de Katayoku no Tori y el nuevo album de Haruka Shimotsuki; y varias otras cosas (como los nuevos juegos de la saga Tales; y el poder jugar Cross Edge).

Oh, y respecto al proyecto de retraducción de Ar tonelico II: ¡Cosmosphere de Jakuri terminada!

Y bueno, eso será todo por ahora.

Well, I only have to say that I have finished my fifth semester on college, and though my performance was quite... mediocre... in comparison to how I was in the former semesters, at least I could pass all the subjects (I was somewhat unmotivated...)

Talking about anime, I'm still watching the second season of Shakugan no Shana (still having to see the final episodes), and in videogames, I have finished Atelier Iris 3 (thinking currently about writing a review for it soon), and doing my second playthrough in Tales of the Abyss (and I'll be making a review for it later, too).

And I'm still expecting anxiously the second Inuyasha season, the release of the Katayoku no Tori single and Haruka Shimotsuki's new album, and various other things (such as the new Tales of series games, and a chance to play Cross Edge).

Oh, and in regards to the Ar tonelico II retranslation project: Jakuri's Cosmoshere completed!
