Bueno, resulta que he tenido dos semanas infernales...

Primero, el jueves pasado yo y mi familia fuimos extorsionados por un secuestro falso; y a pesar de que por suerte toda la cuesión resulto ser solo una farsa, fue simplemente una experiencia realmente horrible...

Segundo... hace dos semanas... mi abuelo murió, después de una larga agonía... se que puede sonar frío que diga que fue mejor así, dado que estaba sufriendo mucho; y la operación que podría salvarle la vida tenía probabilidades muy altas de matarlo... así que fue mejor así para que no sufriera más...

Tercero... Estuve toda la semana pasada en mi pueblo natal por los funerales de mi abuelo; y aunque resultó menos desagradable porque al menos estuve en casa de KazeRyuu y pudimos pasarnos el rato jugando videojuegos y viendo animé, fue bastante incomodo porque no estaba tan a gusto allá como en mi casa.

Y bien, también quisiera preguntar algo: ¿vale de algo todo el trabajo de traducción que estoy haciendo? Porque parece que a nadie le interesa todo lo que he hecho en el foro...

Well, it happens that I had two hellish weeks...

First, the last Thursday, my family and me were victims of an extortion attempt through a fake abduction, and while luckily, all the thing ended being just a con, it was a truly awful experience...

Second... two weeks ago... my grandpa died, after a long agony... I know it might be cold from me to say that it was for the best, since he was suffering too much, and the operation that could have saved his life had very high probabilities of killing him too, so... it was the best, so he wouldn't continue suffering...

Third... I was all the past week on my hometown because of my grandpa's funerals, and even if it wasn't completely bad because I could stay in KazeRyuu's house to play videogames and watch anime, it still was a little unpleasant because I wasn't as comfortable as I am on my house.

And finally, I sincerely want to ask something: The translation work I have done in the forum is worth anything? Since it doesn't look like anyone cares at all for the things I have translated in the forum....

Bueno, solo he de decir que ya terminé mi quinto semestre en la universidad; y aunque mi desempeño fue un tanto... mediocre... en comparación con los semestres anteriores, al menos pude aprobar todas las materias (es que estaba algo falto de motivación...)

En cuestión de animé, sigo viendo la segunda temporada de Shakugan no Shana (aunque todavía me faltan por ver los capítulos finales); y en videojuegos, ya terminé Atelier Iris 3 (pensando en sacarle una review dentro de poco), y estoy jugando mi segunda partida en Tales of the Abyss (que también le haré una review más adelante).

Y sigo esperando ansiosamente la segunda temporada de Inuyasha, el lanzamiento del single de Katayoku no Tori y el nuevo album de Haruka Shimotsuki; y varias otras cosas (como los nuevos juegos de la saga Tales; y el poder jugar Cross Edge).

Oh, y respecto al proyecto de retraducción de Ar tonelico II: ¡Cosmosphere de Jakuri terminada!

Y bueno, eso será todo por ahora.

Well, I only have to say that I have finished my fifth semester on college, and though my performance was quite... mediocre... in comparison to how I was in the former semesters, at least I could pass all the subjects (I was somewhat unmotivated...)

Talking about anime, I'm still watching the second season of Shakugan no Shana (still having to see the final episodes), and in videogames, I have finished Atelier Iris 3 (thinking currently about writing a review for it soon), and doing my second playthrough in Tales of the Abyss (and I'll be making a review for it later, too).

And I'm still expecting anxiously the second Inuyasha season, the release of the Katayoku no Tori single and Haruka Shimotsuki's new album, and various other things (such as the new Tales of series games, and a chance to play Cross Edge).

Oh, and in regards to the Ar tonelico II retranslation project: Jakuri's Cosmoshere completed!

Y entre otras cosas, ya estoy mejor en relación a como estaba en días anteriores por lo que pasó el viernes, aunque aun me irrita el pensar en ello.

Si se preguntan que significa el título en esta ocasión, es esto: "Sueños triturados, esparcidos por el viento hacia lugares lejanos".

¿Por qué?
Por esto: presenté mi aplicación en la embajada del Japón para presentar las pruebas para ver si podía conseguir una beca; y pasó esto: parte de los documentos que envíe (las planillas de aplicación, resultados de los exámenes médicos y fotos) "desaparecieron" y por ello perdí todo derecho de presentar las pruebas, y por consiguiente toda lo relacionado a la beca. Imposible razonar con el que estaba a cargo de recibir las aplicaciones; y terminé perdiendo también todo el esfuerzo que realicé para esto: perdí un montón de clases y pruebas en la universidad, tuve que realizar un montón de viajes a la capital para legalizar los documentos; y para colmo, toda una semana estudiando y preparandome para eso (incluida la noche de ayer que me la pasé sin dormir para estudiar). Todo eso se terminó yendo a la basura.

No tienen idea de cuanto me frustra y enfurece esto...

If you're wondering what the title means in this ocassion, this is the translation: "Crushed dreams, scattered by the wind to faraway places"

Why?
Because of this: I presented my application in the Japan embassy to take the tests to see if I was eligible for an scholarship, and this happened: part of the documents I had sent (the application forms, medical examination results and photos) "disappeared" and because of that, I ended losing all the rights to take the tests, and by extension, the scholarship itself. It was impossible to reason with the person in charge of receiving the applications, and as a result, I ended losing all the efforts I made just for this: skipping a lot of classes and tests in college, all the trips to the capital I had to do to legalize the documents; and to top it all, an entire week of studying (including yesterday's sleep-less night), all of that went right to the trash bin.

You all don't know how much this frustrates and enrages me...
