¡Feliz Navidad! y Noticias

Disculpen por la demora, pero de todas formas: ¡Feliz Navidad a todos!

La verdad esta Navidad estuvo mucho mejor que la anterior (aunque no tanto como la de hace dos años); y los regalos que recibí no estuvieron nada mal: un viajecito a Estados Unidos por dos semanas (al fin salgo de aquí), tres libros de Harry Potter en edición tapa dura (El Prisionero de Azkaban, El Cáliz de Fuego y Las Reliquias de la Muerte) y una pequeña carta de parte de mi hermana menor. Espero que las Navidades de todos ustedes, mis estimados lectores (entre ellos mi amigo Kami y mi lector asiduo, icefalldragon, a quienes les agradezco que siempre esten al pendiente de lo que publico en este blog) hayan sido grandiosas, y hayan disfrutado de gratos momentos en compañía de sus familiares.

Ahora respecto a las noticias, solo tengo que dar dos: primero, finalmente comencé a trabajar en la traduccion de los Hymmnos Musicals; y ya terminé con el de Claire, mientras aún sigo en progreso con el de Spica. La traducción al inglés del Musical de Claire pueden leerlo por acá, y los de Spica y Cocona los publicaré tan pronto los tenga listos.
La otra noticia es que mañana por la madrugada saldré de viaje para Estados Unidos, tal y como lo comenté donde mencioné los regalos, así que probablemente no pueda actualizar el blog hasta mi regreso. De todas formas, ya veremos si por las noches tengo la oportunidad de conectarme un rato.

Así pues, los dejo, deseándoles lo mejor en este año que se inicia; y que logren cumplir con todas las metas que se propongan. Así mismo, recuerden intentar hacer la pequeña tradición que vengo haciendo desde hace dos años: hacer sonar EXEC_PHANTASMAGORIA/. por todo lo alto tan pronto como inicie el Año Nuevo (en otras palabras, cuando sean las 12:00 am del 1 de Enero, o la medianoche después del 31, como prefieran), con la esperanza de que eso lleve los deseos de paz y coexistencia que todos tenemos a todos los rincones de este mundo. Y siguiendo, he aquí otra canción perteneciente a la clase FLIP, las cuales son las que usan la energía vital de las cantantes como poder para causar efectos más grandes que los que un simple HYMME puede provocar (y son incluso más escasas que las METHOD).

Esta la utilizo Shukure para hacer que aparecieran alas en su espalda y poder volar. Así le serviría de distracción a los Anticuerpos mientras Sasha terminaba los preparativos de su satélite y Cocona se concentraba en los sentimientos que necesitaría para su propia canción.

(Y si, el título es FLIP, no FRIP. Ya saben como es la cuestión de los japoneses con las R y las L).

Oh, por cierto, mañana sale a la venta el Hymmnos Musical Vocal Best, que incluye las canciones de los musicales de Claire y Spica sin efectos de sonido ni partes de drama, y como extra, nos trae la mayoría de esas canciones en versiones alargadas. Sin embargo, no sé que debería hacer al respecto de ellas aquí en el blog: editar las entradas donde las publiqué originalmente para añadir la letra correspondiente a las versiones extendidas, o dejarlas así y publicar cada canción que tenga versión extendida en una nueva entrada.

Siguiendo, esta es una de las canciones cantadas por Cocona, aunque el estilo hace pensar más bien en Luca o en la misma Haruka, dado que suena más como una balada folk.

Cocona la cantó mientras pensaba que debía hacer después de que Sasha se desmayó mientras intentaba construir el satélite, y estaban atrapadas con Shukure en una cueva, bajo el riesgo de que las devoraran los anticuerpos.

Siguiendo con el Musical de Cocona, podríamos decir que esta es la unica entre las canciones que desentona un poco con el resto, a pesar de quedarle como anillo al dedo a quien la canta, dado que se trata de Sasha. Ella la cantó cuando empezó a trabajar en el satélite que serviría como expansor de rango de Infel Phira, el cual le permitiría a Cocona usar su magia, aunque fuese solo a un 30% de su poder total.

También sirve como el debut de Chata en Ar tonelico, de modo que las tres amigas (Haruka, Rekka y Chata) finalmente lograron trabajar juntas en este proyecto.

En este momento estoy pasando por una furia y tristeza cuyo alcance no tienen ni idea; gracias a cierto "GYAYA DIA" (disculpen por ponerlo en Hymmnos), que no soporto siquiera ver su estupida cara con verruga ni escuchar su repulsiva voz, así que perdonen si este post es más corto de lo habitual.

Básicamente, esta canción, cuyo tono es tan caótico y oscuro como el de ViibaCii_MjiiRa, es la canción de los Anticuerpos, y suena de fondo cada vez que ellos aparecen en escena. La primera ocasión en la que la escuchamos es cuando interrumpen la pelea entre Cocona y Shukure, y las fuerzan a retirarse, dado el gran nivel de poder y el gran número de ellos que apareció.

Esta otra canción, por otra parte, es cantada por Shukure, una Reyvateil de Clusternia y subordinada de Akane, la cual usa para atacar a Sasha y a Cocona. Para ponerlo de modo simple, Cocona la subestimó porque pensaba que podría atacarla antes de que pudiera cantar, lo cual fue un grave error, dado que las Reyvateil de Clusternia se entrenan para cantar a una velocidad semejante a la de las IPDs, cosa que pueden comprobar fácilmente oyendo la velocidad endemoniada a la que Shukure canta las primeras líneas.

Entre otras notas, tal parece que Mineko Yamamoto, mejor conocida por sus contribuciones a los Atelier (cantante de los OP de Atelier Rorona y Atelier Totori), también ha decidido unirse a las cantantes Hymmnos, por no decir que parece que Yoshitaka Hirota también se ha unido a las filas de los compositores y arreglistas, cosa que no podría ser mejor para la saga, en mi opinión. Ahora, si tan solo anunciaran otro juego...

Letra - Sasoi no Minazoko ～Iriya mie Lip-Aura～

Ahora comenzando con la letra para la tríada de canciones presentes en Kasou Shoujo ~Lip-Aura~ Prelude, tenemos aquí la primera. Como aún no me he puesto a oír el drama CD fuera de las canciones, supongo que en esta se representa la escena en la que Iriya, el protagonista de la historia, se encuentra con la flor maldita de Lip-Aura. El tono que tiene la canción realmente suena como si invitase al oyente a sumergirse en lo profundo de un río de sueños, para nunca despertar de una ilusión y tener que regresar al horrendo mundo real. Como nota extra, también debo decir que Annabel, quién acompaña a Haruka en dos de las canciones de este album; y además participó en los coros del album doujin Lucce e Iombra (notable por haber tenido a Noriko Mitose como una de las cantantes principales), también es una excelente cantante; y tiene un tono maduro y fuerte que realmente ayuda a enfatizar la belleza de estas piezas.

Letra - Nagareru Kago no Naka

Por decepcionante que parezca, Hikari no Amaoto solo tiene dos canciones, aunque hay que comprender que esto se debe tambien a las canciones que salieron para los albumes Kasou Shoujo ~Lip-Aura~ Prelude y Tindharia no Tane ~Sorezore no Hanamatsuri~, los cuales salieron al mismo tiempo que este (y son los que siguen en la lista de traducción). Respecto a la canción en sí, tiene un tono bastante meláncolico, aunque nos dice que debemos dejar esa jaula atrás, y salir a la luz.

Bueno, comenzando con los albumes publicados por Haruka Shimotsuki bajo el nombre CRAFTSCAPE, aqui tenemos Hikari no Amaoto. Siguiendo el estilo típico de la saga Sacred Doors, esta canción tiene un estilo celta bastante similar al de Kokuu Kanadeshi Uta (Wyrdrad no Shirabe) y debo decir que es excelente, además que el significado de la letra me gusta bastante.

Letra - Kitsunetsuki

Ya casi finalizando yorlga, aqui tenemos la penultima de sus canciones. Debo decir, que por extraño que parezca, está canción tiene un cierto parecido con Akakakushi, de Akiko Shikata, dado que ambas usan el estilo clásico japonés mezclado con instrumentos occidentales y varios elementos tomados de la música contemporánea. Sin embargo, del resto no tienen muchas similitudes que digamos.

Siguiendo con yorlga, aquí tenemos otra más de sus canciones; y perdonen que me demore tanto con las traducciones, pero es que últimamente, el trabajo y la universidad realmente me están dejando agotado (figurense que no he podido continuar retraduciendo Ar tonelico 2 por el agotamiento). Con respecto a Nemuribyou, es una buena canción; y a pesar de que tiene un estilo parecido a Yume wo Kaimasu, al menos no es tan aterradora, pero sí es misteriosa; y un poco repetitiva...

Para ponerlo de modo sencillo, diría que esta canción es una versión más suave de Tama no Fune, a pesar de lo inusual que es escuchar al inicio la canción como si sonase a través de una radio antigua. De todos modos es realmente hermosa, y después del cuarteto de canciones previas, sirve bien para recuperar el aliento, aunque Hirota no fue el compositor y Noriko no fue quién escribió la letra.
