Como algunos ya deben saber, por haber sido una noticia mencionada en AndriaSang, Siliconera y RPGFan, Gust ha sido comprada por Tecmo-Koei; y ya anunciaron que lo primero que harán con sus propiedades intelectuales sería hacer juegos "sociales" basados en la saga Atelier...

Con esto también queda más que claro que es el final de Ar tonelico, ya que dicha franquicia es un proyecto conjunto entre Gust y Namco-Bandai; y dado que Namco-Bandai y Tecmo-Koei son rivales, ahí tenemos la razón de porque Gust ha estado con tanta prisa de ponerle punto y final a Ar tonelico desde hace unos meses, lo cual incluyó los siguientes eventos (discúlpenme por no haber cubierto nada de esto en el blog, pero era demasiado deprimente para mí el mencionarlo): el lanzamiento de dos light novels que cerraron la trama de la saga, el final de las actualizaciones del Ar Portal este 31 de Agosto; y finalmente, el cierre definitivo del servicio de las Supporteils este 31 de Diciembre (así es amigos míos... vayan despidiéndose de Mihoka, porque dentro de poco no la verán más... T_T)

Del mismo modo, tomando en cuenta los planes que Tecmo-Koei tiene para Gust (lo poco que han anunciado, mejor dicho), sinceramente no creo que podamos esperar mucho; y solo podemos decirle adiós a la compañía que había creado mundos y juegos tan maravillosos...

As some might already know due to these news being already posted in AndriaSang, Siliconera and RPGFan, Gust has been acquired by Tecmo-Koei, and they have already announced that the first move they would do with their intellectual properties would be making "social" games based in the Atelier series...

This also makes clear-cut that this is the end for Ar tonelico, given that said franchise is joint project between Gust and Namco-Bandai; and since Namco-Bandai and Tecmo-Koei are rivals, there we have the reason for Gust being so eager to finish off Ar tonelico since some months ago, which included the following events (sorry for not covering of them in the blog, but it was far too depressing for me to mention): the release of two light novels that closed off the plot of the series, the end for the updates of the Ar Portal this August 31th, and finally, the definitive closure for the Supporteil service this December 31th (yes, my friends... say goodbye to Mihoka while you can, because soon you won't be able to see her anymore... T_T)

In the same way, considering the plans that Tecmo-Koei has for Gust (better said, the little they have announced), sincerely I don't think that we can expect much, and we can only say goodby to the company that had created so wonderful worlds and games...

Mi lenguaje personalizado, el (Dragoniano) - My custom language, (Dragonian)

Bueno, es hora de presentarles mi lenguaje personal, creado para el manga que estoy haciendo con mi grupo de amigos, Seirei no Chikara. Tiene trazas de varios lenguajes, como lo son el inglés, el latín, el español y el japonés, con el Hymmnos como inspiración principal.

Historia:

Este lenguaje fue desarrollado hace alrededor de 3700 años; y aunque se sigue usando hasta la fecha en el mundo de Dragonia, ha sufrido muchos cambios desde de su origen. Antiguamente, todas las palabras se escribían de forma ideografica (al estilo de los kanji japoneses), pero luego, se creó un alfabeto para manipularlo más fácilmente, y las palabras ideográficas son muy raras en los escritos actuales. Este lenguaje se separó en dos vertientes hace alrededor de 3200 años: Dragoniano Común (que será el que trataremos en este post) y Dragoniano Ceremonial. El idioma es llamado "Dragyuu Linkartseiyu" (Lengua del Dragón) en dragoniano.

Letras:

El dragoniano actual posee 52 letras: 26 mayusculas y 26 minusculas, junto con 10 numeros. Antiguamente existían alrededor de 8.000 ideogramas para representar las palabras, pero con el desarrollo del alfabeto, se redujo mucho su uso. Actualmente, es raro conseguir textos que usen mas de 100 de esos ideogramas.

Grámatica:

La estructura del Dragoniano es bastante simple:

Emoción - Sujeto - Verbo - Objeto (estructura ESVO)

Emociones:

La emoción está compuesta siempre por dos palabras que no se pueden modificar; y representan la emoción del sujeto que dice la oración (Ejemplo: "alt tok" significa "estoy feliz). La emoción solo indica los sentimientos del hablante, así que aunque se pueden indicar las emociones que uno siente respecto a las acciones de otros, no puede indicar los sentimientos de otras personas. Además, a diferencia del Hymmnos, las emociones no muestran intensidad ni contexto.

Sin embargo, se pueden modificar para hacerlos negativos, del mismo modo que a los verbos:

Los verbos pueden tener varias formas; y aquí las tienen todas, usando como ejemplo el verbo "briyatse" (brillar):

No existe, ya que para poner las oraciones en forma desiderativa, se utiliza la emoción "ochis meya" (yo deseo). Para la forma desiderativa negativa, se usa la emoción "ochis menasez" (no deseo).

Pronombres:

(yo = sos)
(nosotros = sossaks)

Particulas:

Aquí es similar al Hymmnos, se usan las partículas únicamente si el verbo no afecta al sujeto que dice la oración. A la hora de usarlas, se colocan después del sujeto al que afectan (como en el japonés)

Ejemplo:

(ochis meya hidrast touytsah sos targahti = Deseo que el agua toque mi cuerpo)
(ochis meya hidrast touytsah tast ika targahti = Deseo que el agua toque a tu cuerpo, con "ika" significando "a")

Sentido de pertenencia:

Cuando hay dos sustantivos uno al lado de otro, el primero es el dueño del segundo siempre. Además si hay una partícula de por medio entre ambos, se ignora.

Ejemplo:

(sos blog = mi blog)
(tast mondour = tu mundo)

Adjetivos:

Siempre se colocan antes del sujeto al que afectan.

Ejemplo:

mivagre bamokist (bosque verde)

Well, is time to show you all my custom language, created specially for the manga I'm making with my group of friends, Seirei no Chikara. It has traces of various languages, such as English, Latin, Spanish and Japanese, but its main inspiration is Hymmnos.

Story:

This language was developed around 3700 years ago, and is still being used in the world of Dragonia, though it has suffered many changes since its creation. In the ancient times, all the words were written with ideograms (similar to the Japanese kanji), but later on, an alphabet was created for easier use, and because of that, the ideographic words are very rare nowadays. The language was divided into two classes around 3200 years ago: Common Dragonian (which is the one that we'll be discussing in this post) and Ceremonial Dragonian. This language is called "Dragyuu Linkartseiyu" (Language of the Dragon) in dragonian.

Letters:

Modern dragonian has 52 letters: 26 uppercase and 26 lowercase, together with 10 characters for the numbers. In the ancient days, there were around 8.000 ideograms for writing words, but with the development of the alphabet, the use of the ideograms was reduced significatively. Currently, texts with more than 100 of these ideograms written are very rare.

Grammar:

The grammar structure for Dragonian is very simple:

Emotion - Subject - Verb - Object (ESVO structure)

Emotions:

The emotion is always composed of two words that can't be modified, and they represent the emotions of the person that's speaking (for example: "alt tok" means "I'm happy"). The emotion only shows the feelings of the speaker, so even if it can be used for indicating the emotion that one feels in respect to others' actions, it can't be used to indicate the feelings of other persons.
And it has a big difference with Hymmnos: the emotions can't show intensity or context.

However, the emotions can be modified to make them negative, in the same fashion as the verbs:

(alt tonasez = I'm not happy)

Verbs:

The verbs can have various forms, and here I'm indicating all of them, using the "briyatse" (shine) verb:

Plain form (present):

briyatse

Past form (adding "ga" at the end):

briyatsega

Present proggresive (adding "tes" at the end):

Briyatsetes

Future form (replacing the final vowel with "ara"):

Briyatsara

Negative form (replacing the final syllable with "nasez"):

Briyatnasez

Passive Form (replacing the final vowel with "ses"):

Desiderative Form:

There isn't one, since for putting the sentences in desiderative form, we can use the "ochis meya" (I wish) emotion. For the negative desiderative form, the emotion "ochis menasez" (I don't wish) it's used instead.

Imperative Form (adding "ae" to the end):

Polite Imperative Fom (adding "alia" to the end):

Briyatsealia

Pronouns:

(I = sos)
(we = sossaks)
(you = tast)
(you (plural) = tastsaks)
(he = kyus)
(they (plural for males) = kyussaks)
(she = kays)
(they (plural for females) = kayssaks)

Particles:

This is similar to Hymmnos, since the particles are only used if the verb doesn't affect the speaker. And for using them, they are put after the noun they are affecting (similar to Japanese).

Example:

(ochis meya hidrast touytsah sos targahti = I wish that the water touches my body)
(ochis meya hidrast touytsah tast ika targahti = I wish that water touches your body, "ika" is the particle indicating "who" the water will touch (it's similar to the particle "to"))

Ownership phrases:

When there are two nouns together, the first one always "owns" the second one. If there are any particles between them, for the ownership purposes it's ignored.

Example:

(sos blog = my blog)
(tast mondour = your world)

Adjectives:

They always go before the noun they modify

Example:

blazu hidrast (blue waterl)
mivagre bamokist (green forest)

And as a final note, there aren't any kind of conjugations in the grammar structures.
